Got this for my wife - who's on the small side (less then 5ft and 100 lbs) - need something she could handle - this is it

By Sparky22
This is a great light and useful piece. It holds tons of stuff. I was so sad when the top handle fell off, thank goodness not while I was traveling. My husband fixed it, but it still comes off on each trip. I will be contacting Eagle Creek.

By Alan Lekan
The many intelligent and useful features make the Ease easy to like. About as good as any model around. But, BOTH handles blew out after only three trips - risking losing my airline baggage ID routing tag and everything in it forever. Thankfully, that did not happen, but the unreliability in a workhorse luggage piece like this caused a loss of brand loyalty with (normally excellent rep) Eagle Creek which will be Briggs & Riley's gain. After warranty service, I will give to a less-frequent-flying friend. In the world of quality engineering, this is a case of excellent "Quality of Design" but insufficient "Quality of Conformance" in making to that design.
Update Oct. 2012: Warrenty services said they knew about this defect and reinforced the design. New replacement sent promptly.
